Meet the Staff

Jerry is the owner and manager of the Alma office.  He has a vast amount of experience with agriculture and insurance. Jerry has farmed for 25+ years and has been an agent for the past 10+ years. He is a licensed agent that is knowledgeable in mapping, underwriting and providing farmers with the necessary coverage for their crops. He creates great rapport with clients and enjoys providing them with services that are needed to help run and maintain farming operations. Jerry also is Channel Seedsman, selling seed for Ehrke Seeds LLC. Jerry and his wife Jodi have 4 children: Tyler, Derek, Whitney and Marcus. They are also the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren: Houston, Aspen, Baylor & Bruin Billeter, Beckett, Cassidy, Jagger, Paxton, Memphis and Broderick Ehrke. Jerry enjoys Husker football, being involved in the community and most of all, his family.

Mark is the owner and manager of the Gothenburg Office. Mark started working in the crop insurance business in December of 2004.  He is a 1983 graduate of UNL and has spent the last 30 years of his life involved in a row crop operation near Gothenburg. Mark services Gothenburg, Cozad, and the surrounding area, as well as Eastern Colorado and Western Nebraska areas. Mark and his wife LaNona live north of Gothenburg with 4 children where they continue to be involved in production agriculture.

Derek is a licensed agent who joined the AgEdge team in 2011. He is involved in providing crop policies, underwriting, mapping and assisting clients with all crop insurance needs. He is also active writing farm home and auto policies. Derek is a Channel Seedsman, selling seed for Ehrke Seeds LLC. He has an Associate's degree in Marketing from Iowa Western. Derek has a background in agriculture, growing up on the farm and assisting in the Ehrke Brothers farming operation. Derek and his wife Maria, who is a 1st grade teacher at Alma Public Schools, have three kids, Beckett, Cassidy & Jagger, currently reside in Alma. He enjoys Husker athletics, coaching youth sports and spending time with family. 

Drew is a licensed agent who joined the AgEdge team in 2013. Drew's primary emphasis is on providing crop insurance policies, underwriting, mapping, automated crop reporting and assisting with the AgEdge website. Drew has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Hastings College. He also has a background in farming - assisting Billeter and Sons family farming operation in Loomis. Drew is married to Whitney Billeter, who is a 6th grade teacher at Loomis Public Schools. Whitney and Drew have 4 children, Houston, Aspen, Baylor and Bruin. They live in Loomis and are active members in the community. They enjoy playing golf and basketball, movies and spending time with their families.

Michael has been a licensed agent with AgEdge since 2018. He is a 2013 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's degree in Education. At AgEdge, Michael primarily focuses on crop policies and agronomic support. He lives on the farm north of Orleans with his wife, Bridget, and 6 children- Leah, Emma, Josie, Max, Noah and Dom. Michael is active in his family's farm and ranch operation and also spends time selling and supporting specialty crop inputs in Southern Nebraska. 

Taylor recently joined AgEdge in February of 2026 as the new processor and also helps with the marketing. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Originally from Fairbury, NE, she comes from an agricultural background and has over 8 years of marketing experience. Taylor is married to her husband, Brody, who farms in the Harlan County area. Together they have two kids, Remi (4) and Brooks (1). They live in Alma and are active members of the community. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with family & friends, watching Nebraska Husker athletics, being outdoors - especially boating at the lake, and traveling.
